PSG.

From founding to the first online procurement solution

Since 1991, the PSG corporate group has been offering highly professional operational procurement services, beginning with the founding of the procurement service provider IPS. The founders' goal was to consolidate the procurement of consumables for the manufacturing industry as a purchasing service provider, optimize purchasing prices, and reduce high process costs associated with procuring C-class materials in companies by changing ordering workflows as well as approval and billing procedures. The rapid growth in customer base and orders was already addressed in 1995 with the development of an online ordering platform. In early 1996, IPS realized one of Europe's first procurement solutions for the then-emerging internet infrastructure using proprietary software, and won the first German Internet Award at CEBIT in 2000.

From procurement service provider to part of the EPSA Group

In 2002, IPS was integrated into PSG Procurement Services. Today, the company is part of the EPSA Group and operates globally through a partner network in over 34 countries. We serve more than 300 clients from our headquarters in Lohmar and additional locations in Austria and Switzerland.
